anyone out there know enough about websites that can explain how people earn money from there web sights? now im talking about some one like craigslist. its free to post. they dont have a product to sell.

Craigslist makes their money off the rental apts and homes,I was wondering the same thing and went to their site and looked at the history of CL.

There are hundreds...thousands....maybe more scams to make a penny (or parts of a penny) here or there.

As far as I know the only ways to make money with a web site would be:

You own the web site and make money from advertising

You have designed and maintain the web site for a customer

You own a web site and sell a product

Be VERY VERY careful..... those get rich quick ad's are bogus and craigslist is loaded with them.
