Easier To Swap Powerheads Or Lower Units?

Hello:
In looking over my compatible donor motor(74 Johnson 25 to a 73 same) I see a low hours motor with electric start and cosmetically excellent (thus my low hours guess). My motor has an excellent running top end with a bad lower unit. Is it less technically difficult to swap the powerheads or the lower units? I would much rather place my powerhead on the better looking motor with electric start but I don't want to get in over my head. Thank You1
Michael

On a twenty five, both are easy. Most would say the L/U.

I'd swap the lower unit and be on the water catching fish the next day. Then I'd read & plan my next move, which would be this Winter when I'd make one superb motor out of the two.

Or....swap the lower unit and electric start also. Then go fishing...... :)
