EASY ?? How do I identify my boats drive package.

I just bought a 2000 Glastron Carlson CSX 21. I want to know the model of the motor so I can get a shop manual. There is a sticker on the captians choice for model serial number but I cant read it. The drive numers are legiable. It is a volvo/penta, 454 , 7.4 Gi. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Darren

There should be some 1 or more letters after the 7.4Gi, what are they?
If you look on the back of the engine block, also port side by the oil filter boss, there is a metal tag with the 7.4Gi numbers, including the 10 digit serial number.
On the outdrive itself, there may be a tag on the port side of the drive.

Thank you. OK here is what I found. Prod# 3869060. Type 74GI PEFS. Serial # 4012007292. What does the number tell me about the year of the motor and where can I find a shop manual for this set up? Other numbers. Drive unit SX-M 1 43

Go to the link below, and plug in your engine serial number. You can download the owners manuals and a few other things.
Also, at the bottom you can order the service manuals, it lists all the ones you need. There is more than just one.
