Hi. I posted a question about I.D.ing my trailer right after I tried to load the boat on it the first time. Like somebody answered, my trailer was too old for standard side guide kits to fit up without some adaption. I managed to set the trailer up for bunkboard guides and while I was at it I realized that the angle that the trailer set in the water was too steep. I got a 6" drop receiver and what a difference. When we returned to the ramp after fishing in a protected area between islands there was a stiff wind blowing and rocking the boat hard against the dock but I drove the boat up on the trailer in one try and it ran right up to the bow stop. If I didn't have the bunkboard side guides on I know that the wind would have never allowed me to load up on the first try. Thanks, from AN OLD FISHERMAN
