Today I left my boat and its 3.0L OMC COBRA with an engineer to look at as the engine may have seized at the weekend.I have seen the exact same unit complete with sterndrive on the net.Same year,model the lot (cant believe my luck ,guy has removed it and refitted a diesel to his boat.) Anyway how easy is it to remove my existing engine and fit the other one in.Is it straight forward in and out or am I biting off more than I can chew. The engine is 1988 spec.Any advice would be appreciated.
