Looks like a 500$ motor since it's so old and has side trim . Although it might be a good strong motor I would buy it but not for 1200.

Thanks Whaler that's kind of input I need as I thought it was too high also. I made a 700.00 offer but was turned down so I will keep searching.

Way too much, I would want $1000 for my 83 Johnson 90 with controls when I sell it.
