Hello all, first real post.

We bought this 19ft Stingray 190rs last year, it came with the factory bow and cockpit cover but both are totally worn out and paper thin, the seams are ripped and some buttons are missing. I ripped the further simply folding it.

The previous owner had started to use a general trailering cover (with the loops/ no snaps) which I have used for the last year as it is waterproof and fits well dispite being not taylor made for the hull. I use 3 poles to tent it and it works since the boat has been kept on the trailer this year however it is clumsey (dealing with/ climbing under to set up poles once hooked around the hull).

Ideal, I'd LOVE to find some manufactured Stingray canvas as this model was built for a number of years but I have yet to locate anywhere on the net. I contacted a local shop to make me another bow/ cockpit cover and they want $650-800... I'd like to have the 2 pieces for simplicity and ALSO to have the bow only option for the colder days/ short trips...

Ideas:
-Any links to factory Stingray canvas covers? Maybe cheeper then local? 1997-2000ish 190rs/rx lx ls
-Bring the boat to a cover person and have them modify the present mooring cover to add cleat cut-outs and vents/ proper pole slots in the cover and maybe some snaps around the hull for securing it?

Any tips? Just trying to keep this economical.

You'll probably never find a factory cover. The boat is too old.

Your best option may be to try http://www.copycovers.com/
They will use your old cover as a pattern and make a new one for you, so the fit should be exact.

Thanks,
I was hoping Stingray for some crazy chance had reproductions available, but no can do. That link is interesting, but then I though how the one is stretched out and the other is shrunk so I dont trust them for size.

I think- I'm going to modify the trailering cover to suit my needs, or buy one from here that is taylor cut to my hull size. Maybe put some snaps under the rub rail like a mooring cover.
