hey guys, getting ready to fire my new engine up this weekend and have a couple of questions:
1) There is an un-capped port just under the flame arrestor on the fuel inlet side of my 1409 carb, should this be capped? What's it used for?
2) The fuel in my tank has been in there since September of last year. I added some fuel stabilizer, you think it's ok to start this new engine with this fuel or should I drain and refill? It's about 50 gallons or so in there.
3) Can my heat exchanger be taken to the local radiator shop and be flushed out without any harm or should I just flush it with the hose? It's only 2 years old, don't think it should be full of crap but just wanted to do a little PM.
thanks,
keith
