Just wonder if there are any benefits for using aftermarket intake manifold like Edelbrock Performer for 350 small block marine engine with rochester quadrajet carburetor ?
Maybe other modifications like carb spacer ,different camshafts ?
Anybody have experience with that ?

Ayuh,.... That intake manifold is basically an aluminum copy of the cast iron intake used on Merc's Magnum motors, a fairly tall mid-rise intake,...

As for modifyin' yer motor,....

What's yer Objective,..??

What's yer Budget,..??

Generally speakin',... any bolt on accessories won't give ya enough boost in horsepower to even notice it,...

If yer willin' to pull the motor, tear it down, 'n really Build it,....
Ya, there's All sortsa things that can be done/ changed,...

I have inboard Volvo Penta AQ290A (GM 5.7) with Rochester Quadrajet in ChrisCraft Catalina 26ft,heavy.
Engine mechanically is in very good condition, just trying to find out if I can get few more HP of it with maybe better fuel efficiency.
Just researching,thank you for response.

Save your money until you can build a much stronger engine or install a big block. That's a lot of boat for a 5.7.

Nah, they do make marine performance cams, but with that big heavy boat the OE cam is the ticket to torque. Only way to get noticeably more out of that motor is a stroke change and nice tight quench pistons that mirror the head combustion shape.
This thread from another forum has it in vivid detail. Turning a 350 into a 383 stroker It's a good read.
