No lithium batteries on my boat until they figure our how to keep them safer. I have used lithium batteries for 10 years in various applications but on my boat is not one of them....no place to run when something goes wrong!!
Lithium batts are great but you cant afford to make even a small mistake or error, if you do.....poof...all gone !!
Good point on the lithium. Just for the record I ended up buying an Everstart from Wally World (way to tight for lithium at this point). They boast 101ah and 690 mca, for about $80 before tax. So far so good it has performed as I was hoping.
I have had very good sucess for the price of wally world batteries...I use battery maintainers when not in use and that has added extra years of usuable service from my batteries..
