Efi/mpi ????

hi everyone can you give me the pros`s of efi/mpi over a caburated 7.4L?
i have been looking at cuddy cabins for some time and i found a boat i like but its not efi and realy would like the best fuel economy i can get?is it worth looking for a non carb engine?

They do run better and get better fuel economy, downfall being more $$$ to buy and more $$$ to repair just like todays cars but overall worth it.

any idea how much a diff it is at cruising speed?its in a 25ft arriva.
