IF THAT BOAT IS AT ANGLERS CHOICE I ALSO LOOKED AT THAT BOAT VERY NICE BOAT THEY TOLD ME THE POWERHEAD HAD BEEN REPLACED AGAIN IF THAT IS THE SAME BOAT

Very interesting KIPER.<br />I just checked the website and sure enough, there it is.<br />Hmmmmmm, I smell a scam here.<br /><br />The guy I have been talking to, said he was in Ohio and that I needed to send him X amount to hold the boat, so he could take it a shop up there that I know of.<br /><br />I also know Nick at angler's choice and have a call into him right now.<br /><br />So, just how nice is the boat.<br />I might still buy it if I can find out for sure where it is. <br /><br />Gots to go, going to contact the law and see what we can do about this.<br /><br />Thanks KIPER.

Well, if this at really strange.<br />I called the guy up and told him since I was only a couple hours away, that I would just drive up there and get with him and take the boat over to Sizzle Marine in Columbus, Oh. and have them check it out.<br /><br />Well, he then informed me that there was "another" person that was sending him a deposit and that he would have to wait till he saw if that one came thru or not.<br /><br />I then informed him how strange it was that his boat looked a whole lot like the one at Angler's Choice Marine in Va.<br /><br />He quickly hung up on me and when I called his number back, busy. duhhhh.<br /><br />Don't know where he was/is at for sure and about an hour later, I called his cell phone again and get "this number is not a working number".<br />Go figure.<br /><br />But anyhow, I called and talked to Nick Loganadan at the Dealer and will be picking it up the 15th.

I can't imagine why anyone would want a boat such as this to go fishing. Seems to me it would not be safe in anything but a swimming pool if the wind came up. 80 mph in a fishing boat? I could understand it in a racing or skiing situation so why the sounder etc. Petrol heads gone crazy. The boat would be absolutely useless in my area of estuary and offshore.

Just because it can run that fast don't mean you drive it that fast.<br /><br />That's the way bass boats have evolved over the years.<br /><br />They are making the boats bigger and the engines have to keep up.<br /><br />Being lite weight just adds to the mix.

Obviously, there are lakes in Kentucky, unlike your estuary in western Autrailia.<br /><br />There are lakes like that all over the US.If fact, that type of boat may just be the most popular here.

Thanks Rabidfish. For a while there I thought you must all be crazy. Of course, on smooth lakes that would be a pleasure. I am for ever battling chop and a large swell. Can be very hairy. If I can make 30 mph it is a great day.<br /><br />A bad day's fishing beats a good day working.
