Electric Bimini

This is really strange, I need some help on this one. I just installed a new bimini top on my 18' bowrider, and lake tested it this evening. I noticed at idle speed, the support poles seem to be electrified, as I get this tingling jolt, (one of the poles is near my arm, when resting my arm on the gunwale). I noticed on one side of the boat, the main bimini bow is barely in contact with the windsheild frame. I never noticed windhsield frame shocking anyone before. <br />After we get up to speed, the problem disappears.<br /><br />Any ideas on this one ?<br /><br />Bowriderbob

Static from wind? Perhaps it needs grounding to other metal on boat. Or, do you think it is from electrical system somehow? <br /><br />BL...
