Has anyone come up with a good way to attach footpedal/steering where the pedestal seat is a bit too close to the boat bow. Is there a way to attach an extended platform to the pedestal itself which would perhaps allow the pedal to even be mounted beyond the bow? My legs are just too long!

Re: Electric motor pedal

if you mean the TM(trolling motor), you might find relief without hanging over the bow, by using a seat post that has a 'setback' in it. basically an 'S' shape that puts the center of the seat back a little... just guessing on what you mean :)

or a powerdrive TM from MK(MinnKota) can be gotten- without the steering cable. they run off of an electrical cord, and can be moved around easier, no binding of a stiff steering cable... just a thought
