It works! It works!
Years ago, I destroyed my back doing enders and pop-ups in kayaks. I had to switch to canoes with trolling motors but that was clumsy and didn't work in shallow water. I looked for alternates but none really worked, so I began designing and building. I'm in the prototype stage but I now have something that looks like an off-spring of a drift boat and a kayak. It has an electric motor attached to 30" long screw drives hidden under each side of the hull. A deep cycle battery is concealed in the a compartment out of sight. Two foot switches control the motors. While holding a rod & reel, you merely push forward on your feet to propel forward at 8 mph. Pull back on your heels and you're backing up. Push on one while pulling back on the other, you'll be spinning like a top. That does, however, make the fish dizzy!

Please check it out at www.streamdancer.com The site and boat are a bit rough, but I need comments and suggestions before going further.

You help is greatly appreciated,

I also now know how to:
- upset the neighbors by leaving millions of styrofoam pellets in the subdivision pool.
- ruin a nearly finished boat by prepping more material than I can handle in 20 minutes.
- start a fire by mixing too much resin and letting it sit in a container.
- create an explosion with a trolling motor battery.
- sink a prototype while learning about hydrostatic pressure.
- encourage words about divorce when the wife returned to deadly fumes in the house.

- not allow cats in the shop who want to curl up and take a nap on a curing boat.
- not touch a screaming cat who is glued to a cured boat.

- find a ringing cordless phone sealed up inside a fiberglass boat.

Hi SD,

I was wondering how stable the craft was and noted (I presume you) on the edge of it at your website. Looks interesting and I wish you luck with your invention. I hope you have the legal work in place to protect it from being stolen! You may want to read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" for some insight on protecting your work.

Successful Boating,
