Re: Electric vs hand pump oil changers
I've had them all. Started with a mid-range vaccum type, pump it up, open the line, repeat many many times. Went to a high-range vacuum type, same outcome. Too much pumping, not enough draining. Finally bought a 12V electric, pump mounted on the side of the holding tank. Tighten the hose onto the dipstick fitting, attach the leads to the battery, flip a switch and 2 minutes later I'm done. There is absolutely no comparison.
