I started off the season without any issues, but shortly after launching my trim pump would not operate (just a clicking sound). I cleaned all of the electrical connections around the trim pump and it would come and go after that (sometimes it works, other times nothing, just a click). All other electrical components (bilge pump, blower, etc. ) would operate fine. Around the time I was working on the trim pump it started having issues starting, it would beep when turning the key, but no crank. I was able to get it started one time with a battery booster. I decided to replace the battery since it was a few years old and with the new battery (12.6 tested with a multimeter) I get next to nothing, the instrument panel lights up and it beeps, but no crank and none of the components work. I tride jumping with a fully carged battery and maybe got a little crank, but mostly nothing

I’m going to really get into it later this week. I will follow the starter troubleshooting guide with the test light and clean as many more electrical connections that are accessable. Might try replacing the battery cables as well.
Could this be a ground issue? From memory the engine grounding post is all the way in the back of the engine and hard to reach. Could I setup a temporary ground from the negative battery terminal to the engine block?
Any other suggestions or things to try are appreciated while I am fully into it.
