Electrical system Woes...

 I don't know what to think about this electrical system of mine. This is a Mariah Davanti 215 Cuddy with a Merc 350 in it. Once in a while (and more often than not) the starter doesn't turn over (this can be a bad bad thing...hahahah) then, without doing anything it will engage after actuating the key a few more times. I have replaced the starter, and all the cables (red and black) and the boat has two new batteries and a battery switch. Seems like it never happens when I have "BOTH" batteries selected. Also, I think this problem isn't isolated to my starter, it seems like my trim pump works intermittently too....any ideas anyone....Thanks in advance.<br />Bob

It sounds like the dual battery switch is going bad
