I have a 1987 suzuki 115 hp i can,t raise the motor manual . there is no hydrlic fluid in the system and the motor still won,t raise all the way up .plus ther is a problem with the electric part of the system to . it is tottaly dead when you try to lower the motor or raise it by the switch on the motor or on the boat .

Hi Peter,<br />It sounds like you have a couple of issues.<br />If you cant raise the motor manually try loosening the bolt near the bottom of the pump where the largest oil pipe fitting is a few turns. If you can then raise the motor it is at least mechnically OK. As to the electric problem it sounds like the pump is siezed and drawing too much current. The pump sytem definately needs work and a manual would be required. (check your local library)<br />Regards SirLesPat
