Hello, a question, the electric pumps for gasoline that uses mercruiser / volvo are classic gear?
Have a picture where you can see the gears?

The fuel pump is not a serviceable item and so there is no picture of the pump stripped down... If the pump is faulty, replace it. (with an OEM).

The OEM Mercruiser and Volvo pumps ARE gear pumps.

The gasoline seems to work fine, running dry for about 15 seconds (usually less) will destroy them.
