Re: eManuals on ebay

I bought one for my 69 Merc 1000, it was pretty good for $5.00.

I bought one for one of my vehicles and it was fine. I prefer a book that I can take out to the vehicle with me.

Now, you guys do realize that these are mostly illegal copies of copyrighted work, right?

I'm not sayin. I'm just sayin.

OK I am sayin.

Yes, it did cross my mind, just not my pocketbook.

I did not realize these are bootleg. I am suprised Ebay allows such a crime to be committed.

There is a debate about it, it's hard to say if it is illegal or not.

Irregardless of the legality arguement I still prefer the factory service manuals in hard copy and I have them for all our vehicles. They are expensive, but just like a good quality tool, worth it.
