End fitting on Smart Tab actuator

I'm looking for the thread on regarding the subject, and can't find it in search. Anyone remember this issue? The end fitting is plastic and doesn't stay fastened? Something like that.... I received my Smart Tabs and wanted to make sure I'm good to go before installation...

I had the issue, posted here and called John. I lost a tab in the process and it pulled out from the actuator and the plastic hing pins. they promptly sent me redesigned actuator clevis mounts that were brass encased in plastic. I have not had an issue with the new clevis hardware. They look plastic on the outside and if you look on the inside, you can see the brass.

I have since then added stainless hardware for the hing pins as well just to be sure. Here is the link to my comment: http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=267075
