can some one please help me get the shifter control box back together as i cannot seem to get my cable to go forward it seems like i can only put it back together and the throttle goes reverse not forward please help me if you can or pm me thanks

Is only the throttle cable causing problems, or is the shifter cable causing issues also? I would disconnect at motor and report back what's happening.

its only the throttle cable.its got a nipple on the throttle side that rides in a grove on the shifter side of the box.i have been trying with it disconnect from motor,and its driving me nuts.i have cleaned the whole box greased it expeshally the grove the nipple rides in and just cant get it right.i think i need to know what position the nipple needs to be at and if it should be in neutrual,forwar or revers.and ty for the reply.
