Engine Additives

I am running my 1990 Four Winns- (4.3 liter OMC w/cobra drive) for the first time this year in the lake. I ran it about 1.5 months ago on muffs in my drive and it ran okay.

I am going to top off the tank and thought about adding Seafoam just to clean out the carb, jets, etc. Considering its a marine engine- is this okay to run through it or should I just steer clear of it?

Bubba- Good point.

I have owned this point a year, but its 20 years old. Who knows whats in that tank!

On second thought, I'll stay away from it.

E10 will do the same thing, so whatever kawkaw you have, will be heading down stream soon enough.
