Hello all,

I have gone over the forums threads. I'm using a actual drive shaft from my old foot.
The engine was removed as well as the flywheel.

I got it to slide in and out very easily, all the way, with spline markings on all sides of the drive.
The previous setting on the engines front mount was much higher but the drive would barely want to go in. Presently my "believed alignment" position, the front mount is 2/8" from bottomed out.
I noticed that the end of the splines push the grease leave a diagonal marking ===/= about 5 degrees.

Should i be concerned with the diagonal markings as the rest seems correct?
Thank you.

Are you trying to use an old driveshaft to align the engine? If so, it's not going to work as the tolerances on an alignment tool are much tighter than a driveshaft.
