I have a 83 75 HP Evinrude. I went out fishing two weeks ago and it ran good all day. Today however it was bogging down everytime I tried to accelerate. Full trottle and it would just bog along at 6 knots. If I put it in idle and manually revved the engine by the trottle linkage it seemed to idle better and sometimes it would then run on plane. However as soon as I brought it back down it would not want to go back. This happened occasionally before but usually only once or twice over the whole day and once I ran it awhile it would run ngreat.

Carbs dirty? Is there anyway I can clean the carbs without removing them? I have a manual and can attempt the cleaning but I have family visting that really want to go fishing. I thought I remember some one mentioning some kind of fuel mix you can use. Any thoughts?
