Engine Bogs Down between 3kand 3.5K rpms

Mercury 115 four stroke 2013 6 beeps at key on get error message 204-1 Fuel Injector circuit 4 open circuit or has too much resistance. Measured ohms betweem fuel injector (C-21 yellow/pink wire) to ECM (C-1 #18 yellow /pink wire) i have open circuit. Can i run wire outside harness to thes two points or do i need to replace hole harness.

NOT SURE HOW TO EDIT POST SO I AM REPLYING TO MY POST
The six beeps are heard after engine start up when idling i am also getting error message about idle air control but i have already replaced that. i am using vessel view mobile

I ran a jumper wire from pin 18 (yellow/pink wire) on the ECU C-1 to the #4 fuel injector C-21 2 pin connector to the yellow/pink wire. this smoothed out the engine and did away with the 6 beeps. Not able to test at high rpm as not in the water. Now can I run a wire outside the harness to connect these two or is there another solution besides paying $600 for a new cable? Also how do i identify what type of connector these are so i can replace the wire in the proper pin hole. I do not know how to remove the old wire can I splice is this a special signal that is shielded or can i cut the wire near each connector and splice in to that with a waterproof splice.
