I recently converted a 1958 18gh Jonsons from a pressurized system to a fuel pump is the settling bulb neccesary or would I be better off putting on an inline fuel filter

Is the filter still inside the bowel, those filters worked for a lot of years.

The only thing there is the old type settling bulb there is nothing in the bowl ive never seen one with anything in the bowl
