Engine Electrical Components for Mercury 1500

Hello to all! I'm trying to figure out where I can get spark plug wires, cap, and rotor for a '75 Mercury 1500. I've been told they've been discontinued, if that's the case, what can I use as an equivalent? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!<br /><br />-Steve

Surprisingly ebay doesn't have the parts you need, but keep looking and some will show up. I would just replace the entire distributor assembly since it will be about the same. Keep in mind that dist. 900, 1150, and 1400's are same parts as 1500's (73-79 year motors). If you can't find what you need, I'm looking for an excuse to pick this parts motor that is close to me so email me later.
