I was out this w/e pulling my kids on tubes/skis and just running around. Before we got to the lake, I filled up two of my 6gal portable tanks, added oil, etc. I pulled the kids on the first tank with no problems. Eventually I switched to the 2nd tank. When I accellerated, everything was fine. However, when I went to make a tight turn, the engine would falter, and die. I could start it backup and it would run fine, and as long as I was going straight it was good, but as soon as I turned, it would falter again.
I switched back to my first tank and all was good.
I examined the tank when I got home and I didn't see any debris or anything in the tank. The only difference in this tank is that it doesn't have a rubber pick-up tube. The pick-up is molded into the front of the gas tank. I unscrewed the metal gas hose connector from the tank and blew air into the hole and it came out in the tank so it didn't seem to be obstructed. And before anyone asks.... yes, I had the cap vent open.
Any ideas?
