Hello All,

I'm ready to do a carb kit on all carbs since I'm having problems with a floading issue. Please correct me if I'm heading the wrong direction with this.

Took her out to the lake got her wet and could not get her started. Smell of gas bad... I primed my motor while it was still in the inclined position (trailored) to get ready since there was a line to dock. New at this so I'm am trying to get everything ready before I hit the ramp. Primed it and noticed gas coming out of the motor. I figured it was ok so I continued, long story short could not get her started. I figured I had floaded the engine, battery went dead drove back 95 miles very dissappointed.

Back home couple days later fully charged battery tried it again and started right up for about 20 seconds then it died on me. Noticed fuel coming out of the top carb gushing down.

Bare with me guys..

Is a carb kit on all carbs the right choice? Stuck float or something right? I did take the top carb off and inspected it and it looked very clean. I thought on opening the carb I would find it all dirty due to the floading.

I do have the service manual and have read lots of post on the carb kits but do have questions. On taking the low and high speed orifices out once I'm ready to install them back on do they have to be adjusted or do I just screw them back on and I'm ready to go? Also do I have to take the core plugs out as well or can I get away from doing that? I do have new carb kits ready to go.

Thanks for all the help in advance.
