No way 10 minutes is enough! That sucker needs to be run hard for an hour or more.

the way i read it was that the whole hood was 6 inches under, ill go back and reread maybe im mistaken.


you were right 6'' up the hood, i have been tearing into my GT 150 (1991) and i think 6'' would get ya above the bottom carb throat! also there are the vacume recirculate line int he air boz that is lover that goes right into the bearing and all!

Thanks all for your help, she's been starting up and running fine( to me it's been starting faster than before being under water). I've not been to a lake to run it yet:(, working and coaching football every afternoon. Problem with the boat was the cap came apart at back of boat and water was coming in an area about 4 in. long, now to get that fixed:eek:. Do any of you know how to get the back together? Would it be a bad ideal to fiberglass it?:confused:Again thank to all and may God bless.:cool:
