I have a motor that I thought I knew what I had, but found out I don't know what I have. There is no tag on the which shows the model number. All I have is a serial number found on the freeze plug. My question is, there a way to look up the model number through the serial number. The serial number on the freeze plug is R8160597.

Thanks
Mav

Call BRP customer service with that # and they can tell you what it is. 1-262-884-5993.

I called BRP customer service and i believe they gave me the wrong engine, The model number they gave me requires a VRO pump, both models, but main does not require a VRO pump, and that is what got me a little scared.

I usually get good answers from BRP.
