need help!
my friend gave me evinrude/selectric shift, but i don't know what year and i took off from the boat, i forgot to take off the control box, i have another control box. do i need to buy hold control box or only the switch for engine.
please, help? modl # 758443d + ser # e02965 + 75hp starflite 4

you need an electric shift control designed for that motor. there are several different electric shift controls for several different designed motors. try to go back and get the original box.

looks like it is a 1964.

that boat had been destroyed. what I do with it and I don't know the engine run or not? Hard to think.

using pumper cables, you can ground the motor to the neg post on battery, then pos post on battery and touch wiring bolt or starter, it will run with out the controls. you will have to choke it to kill the motor. that year also has a area on the flywheel so you can rope start it.

then you need to be junction box and controls.

I have all wire from motor to the control box next the wheel, I think. I need ignition switch to hook-up all the wires and turn the key to start. how do you thinks?
