Engine Installation

Just finished installing the engine back into the boat. Went pretty easy........<br /><br />Before I installed the engine I took note of the position of the lower shift cable......it's right above the 'Y' pipe. After I installed the engine, I reached under to make sure it wasn't being pinched.........not much room under there......it sits right between the 'Y' pipe and the bell housing......<br /><br />Just confirming how tight of a fit it is....

be to easy to look at the service manual for lower shift cable installation. wouldnt it ?

What kind of a crack is that rodbolt?<br />I don't have the sterndrive manual.....just the engine manual.
