Engine is running fine but no power would lack of engine kill laynyard be the problem?

I'd try a cylinder drop test make sure you're running on all cylinders. What happens when you throttle up? Does it stall or run normally with lack of power/rpms?

The lanyard connects to an engine kill switch. If it is in the off position, your engine will not run period. Your problem could be numerous things and usually fall into 1 of 2 categories...fuel or ignition related. You have to figure out which and then proceed to supply us with data to help you diagnose your problem.
