Engine Manufa.

I recently purchased a 150 horse Force. It's a 1989 inline 5 cylinder. I can't get a straight answer anywhere.
Can anyone tell me who made the Force, Mercury or Chrysler?

1989 is the year that Mercury bought Force from US Marine, so it could be either. Doesn't matter, still the same engine.
