They should be functionally the same. The "s" and "g" at the end of the model number indicate they were made on different production runs. Meaning that some parts may have been supplied by different subcontractors, or that different tooling may have been used in manufacturing process. <br /><br />B- Belgium<br />E- Evinrude<br />35- 35 hp<br />AR- Alaska Rope Start<br />ED- '96<br />s or g- model run suffix
Does anybody know if the Evinrude Elan outboard 1996 model BE35AREDG is he same as the BE35AREDS.
