Guys can you help.
Brought my boat home for the winter it has not ran since last September, just changed the exhaust manifolds and risers, used genuine Volvo parts.
Engine started great and so I ran it for approx 30mins oil pressure and temp all fine,so while the Engine oil was warm I decided to change the oil but found it white milky colour,so I drained the oil and there was approx 7.5 litres.

I removed exhaust manifolds and riser before winter also drained engine block, also this winter in never frosted over once.

What should I do next.

Cheers

Re: Engine Oil Milky

The manifolds were off the engine all winter? I'm no expert but is it possible rain/weather was able to get to the exposed exhaust circuit while the manifolds were off?

If it truly ran fine that first 30 minutes I'd guess there is no catastrophic failure. You probably had the water in the oil sump before you even reinstalled the manifolds. Again, possibly because the manifolds were removed.

Rocker Cover Breather Hose

Rocker Cover Breather Hose

Is it normal for white smoke and droplets of water to come out of both rocker cover breather hoses, not heavy smoke and only tiny droplets.also why do they go direct to the TBI intake filter ????

Cheers

I believe it is mainly for emissions control purposes. Recycling blow-by back into the intake instead of into the air.
