I have a 1996 5.8 with a DP-S drive. Should I put anything on the seals at the bell housing and transom plate intersection? They are 2 large o rings.
This drive also has a raw water hose that goes thru the transom plate. I have the bolts out and elbow removed from the inside and have lubed it over several days but can not get it out. Any secrets to it's removal?
