BTW... the lumber from the frame is stored in my back yard waiting for a deck project on the back burner.<br /><br />Building the frame meant I could work on MY terms and timing and not some tow truck driver.<br /><br />If you have access to a garage, that's terrific, more power to ya... I didn't have that option open to me.

This lift has been used to pull many motors. Most of them bigger then what is in my boat. It's been a while since I've been in there but I belive its actualy mounted to a steel beam. They guy that owns the garage also owns a small trucking company (hauling cattle) and they use the garage for working on their trucks, trailers, and utility vehicles.
