Thanks, They have some good deals. We might just try and piece the old motor back together to get us threw the rest of year. Then start saveing money to buy a motor from USBOATS. I realy think they would be someone to look into.

Swap in the marine cam with a new set of lifters provided it's in good condition.

If its out of a truck there is no need to swap it out. Truck/RV cams and marine cams are one in the same...

Good to know. I never actually compared the two. Off the top of your head do the later model trucks still use the 4 bolt main bearing caps? That is why I always prefered the truck motor. Particularly for a boat that runs at higher rpm's consistently.
