I just started up the boat today after installing a new water impeller, she runs for a minute and then stalls. Seems like a fuel issue, no doubt. I didn't replace any of the filters yet since last year, Im gonna replace all the filters shortly and see if that is the issue. I still have to do the carb screen filter, water seperator and inline fuel filter.

Does anyone know if the whole inline fuel filter has to be full with gas when running, and or does it have to be primed. That may be the issue too. I only see 1/4" of fuel in the filter while it's running.

It seems to me that your problem is a blockage before the filter. Maybe crud in the tank outlet /filter. Or maybe an air leak somewhere in the line that causes your fuel pump to suck air instead of fuel

I found the issue. When I winterized the boat I took off the positive electric fuel pump wire to run the carb dry while it was running.. When I hooked it up today, The power wire to the electric fuel pump was wired incorrectly. I'm sorry for any useless thread.

Thanks, It was wired incorrectly. The electric fuel pump wasn't getting any power, I ran the power lead to a ground instead of a positive lead. I just made the correction.

Ayuh,..... Those never fill, Full,.....

Yer not even supposed to have that sorta filter in yer boat,.....
It should go from the tank line, to the canister filter, to the fuel pump, to the carb's inlet,.....
