I have a 2.3 omc,out last day and engine died,but when i got her going she was brearly ticking over then died again,this kept happening then she did run good for about 2 min then died and again,just before she cut out i heard her back fire,im just lost,checked al the conections etc but stil could not get her going right,if that was not bad enough when i got in(via a tow) the outdrive would not rise,never had that bother with it before,when i went to rise it i could her a noise but was like a crackling noise coming from the outdrive motor that lifts and lowers her,just fed up at this stage,really need help.....:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
