hi i have a 1998 350 magnum with bravo 1 out drive it is raw water cooled
should the engine get up to temp at idle or say driving at 6 knots?
i have only just got the boat and i have always had out boards which have never got up to temp unless flat out
as the 350 has a thermostat i expected it should get warm similar to a car even though its always taking in water
i havent given it any pain yet to see if it warms up as have only used it on a river which is all limeted to 6 knots in the uk
but suspect it will be a faulty thermostat as none of the water pipes get remotley warm either
but could be how it is so i thought i would ask on here before disterbing it all
