Boat sat up about 3 or 4 weeks under my shed out of the water. She started off pretty good on the 4th but seems the more I rode the worse it got.
Pulling a tube I did several stops you know. Sometimes it would cut off when throttling down to idle, but mostly when I gave it throttle she starts skipping and will shut down if I give her throttle too quickly. So just let it skip and start moving and very slowly give it gas as it seems to catch up.
Ran very good once it takes the gas though initially I thought the RPM was not right on steady. Cranks and runs easily.
Things I checked; 1. fuel strainer, pretty clean, oil looked good, antifreeze level was same as when I started. All plug wires in tight.
I don't think it is water or bad gas.
Should I remove the distributor cap and clean it, change any plugs or check the timing?
Thanks
Glenn
