So this is the plate that is faded, my eyes can't hardly make anything out on it....the top right hand corner...is that 200 for Max hp?

I can't read it - but if you call or email Sea Ray with your HIN number ( and from the search I did, it looks like your serial # is M8011) - they can tell you everything about it you want to know.

At least their website says they will......

That very well could be the problem, my wife rea the serial number wrong on a Glastron I bought a few months ago and it drove me crazy, I finally went and looked at it again and what she thought was a Z was actually a 2 which cleared everything up right away.

Someday I may tell ya'll about the time I had a car pulled over and was running a firearm and read a 2 as a Z. Lets just say the butt-pucker factor went from about 5 to 1 million reallllllly fast.

NADA lists a 1975 Sea Ray SRV 200 Amberjack Outboard...
