Re: Engine will not shut off
I walked into my local Canadian Tire Store yesterday to talk to the very knowledgable guys at the auto parts counter and one of them has had overheat issues on his coil under the hood of a highly modified mustang.
The heat under the hood from his monster mill was cooking coils. He was looking at cutting extra vents into the fenders to increase airflow when he stumbled upon a coil that was designed to handle high heat. This beastie has a ceramic coated shell with a silicone liner and it solved the problem.
Sounds to me like this is the perfect bulletproof coil for marine applications.
Stock coil $29.95 CDN Bulletproof Coil $49.95 CDN
Unfortunately he didn't have one in that store but found one at another so I'm going to buy one today and I'll let you know who makes it so you can find one in the U.S. if interested
