I went to the lake last week and was going about 65. I let off the gas and the engine died. It seems to not fire. I pulled a plug put and there was no spark. It is a 96 Johnson 150HP V6. I checked several wires coming to the ignition module and some were 4.5v and some were 12.5v. Any one have any ideas why it doesn't start? I think the ignition module may be gone, but I am new to marine engines. I have lots of experience working on cars.
