Any TCW3 rated oil is right for your engine. Synthetics and synthetic blends produce less smoke. WalMart sells Pennzoil synthetic and semisynthetics for less than the major brands of regular TCW3 at the dealers, BassPro and Cabelas, etc.
I personally use XD 50, it is a synthetic blend that is virtually smokeless, plus it contains CarbX, a combustion cleaner. It may seem like a bit more, but in the long run it will pay for itself.
